EVgo is an app that offers a fast, reliable, and easy way to charge your electric vehicle (EV) on-the-go. With a user-friendly interface, it allows you to find EV charging stations, check real-time charger details, reserve a charger, and start charging instantly. With a network of over 310,000 customer accounts and growing, EVgo is a trusted platform for EV owners to conveniently charge their vehicles.
Features of EVgo app
The EVgo app provides several helpful features for EV owners. Firstly, it allows you to view a map to find EV charging stations near your location. You can check real-time availability, get turn-by-turn directions, and start charging seamlessly. Additionally, the app offers an advanced search option where you can filter charging stations based on connector type, charger power, and reservable chargers. It also enables you to customize your profile, choose preferred notifications, view charging statistics, and make in-app changes to your account.
Pros of EVgo app
One of the main advantages of the EVgo app is its user-friendly interface, making it easy for both new and experienced EV owners to navigate. The app provides detailed site information, including parking availability, pricing, and site photos. It also offers compatibility with a wide range of EV models and connectors, ensuring that you can easily find a suitable charging station. Moreover, EVgo offers rewards to users for charging their EVs, allowing you to earn points and redeem them for real rewards.
Cons of EVgo app
While the EVgo app has many advantages, it does have a few limitations. The app's "Reserve Now" feature is available only in select locations across the US, limiting its accessibility for some users. Additionally, the availability of fast chargers within gated facilities using QR codes might be limited in certain areas. Overall, these limitations may vary depending on your location and the availability of charging stations in your area.
